RaceTime Experience
Channell One Video also has their coverage of nine events in the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC, to represent this era of short
track racing to future generations.
They’ve provided highlights to most of the racing shows on television, such as RPM2Night, RaceDay, and Speedway Heat. Channell One Video provided most of the footage seen on the FOX television series “MotorSports Weekly” and was hired by FOX to cover the garage/pit area at both Winston Cup races in New Hampshire during 2000.
Also, Dick Berggren’s Speedway Illustrated drew on Bill Channell’s experience to have him write an article for their second issue, about
how to capture racing on video.
Channell and Falconi have joined together on many projects in the past, including Channell One Video’s television series “Speedway” which aired on WMUR-TV9, New Hampshire’s ABC affiliate, during 1990 and 1991.
And now, it’s all come together again on NESN to reach four and a half million households in New England, and millions more nationwide via direct broadcast satellite. And, as the first racing series to be simulcast on the internet, it is available worldwide to more households than any other racing series ever produced.
